“The man
who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each
will be
rewarded according to his own labor. For we are fellow workers.
(1
Corinthians 3:8-9)
Galatians 5:22-23
But the
fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no
law.
It is true these words were written
by Paul to the people of Galatia. He had just been telling them what
ungodly behavior was, and then he told them what Godly behavior is.
These same instructions for
Godliness are the very same characteristics which need to be practiced to
achieve a happy Christian marriage.
July 28, 1997 is set aside celebrate
your happy marriage. It is a time, not of buying gifts, (unless you want
to), it is a time for evaluation, rededication and joy with each other. Do
something special just for the two of you.
If your loved one has already joined
Jesus in Heaven, it is a time for you to remember all the good times you
shared.
children as they need all the encouragement you can give them in this time
of worldly pressures.
JOY DAY was begun to honor two
people who had sixty-three years of Christian marriage. Jesse, Ola
Williams. JOY is Jesse,
Ola
& You.
With love
